Lyon, 15 May 2023 – Elyse Energy, a pioneering industrial SME in low-carbon molecules, announced on Monday that Ludovic Izoird, through his company Horize SAS, has acquired a stake in the company. Ludovic was previously Vice-Chairman of the Tenergie group. He will become a partner in charge of operations.
Ludovic Izoird, a recognised entrepreneur in the field of energy transition, has taken a stake in Elyse Energy, becoming a partner in charge of operations alongside Pascal Pénicaud, Cédric de Saint-Jouan, Benoit Decourt and Stéphane Guillard.
Ludovic began his career with Tenergie, an independent player in renewable energy in France, on graduating from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers. He began as a design office engineer before rising through the ranks to become Vice President for Innovation and Strategy in 2020, after holding the positions of Director of Operations (2014) and Deputy Managing Director (2016) of the company. Ludovic Izoird remains a partner in Ténergie today.
Within Elyse Energy, Ludovic will become partner in charge of operations in France, Spain and Portugal. Working alongside the development and operations teams, he will be responsible for implementing the strategic deployment plan for e-methanol and sustainable aviation fuel projects in the Elyse Energy portfolio. He brings his skills and successful experience in the development, construction and operation of major energy projects.

From an organisational point of view, operations have until now been the responsibility of co-founder Benoît Decourt, who is now in charge of developing Elyse Energy’s products for key accounts, institutional relations and environmental performance, as Partner for Products, Sustainability and Public Affairs. The other partners will retain their functions unchanged.
